Digital Double got featured on a Seattle news channel where we got to feature our markerless motion capture studio plus a few clips featuring some of our work samples. Digital Double in the news!! This video features a close look at our raw motion capture data and rig with no tweaking whatsoever. You'll notice a few pops and pinching at the shoulders but this is all fixed easily through a little cleanup and tweaking. Digital Double's Nautical Cyclops. A great example of our studio's character design & modeling abilities. The creature was created in Maya and then sculpted further in Zbrush Some work we did for an ad campaign that was featured during the 2010 Super Bowl. We created this replica of the family truckster from scratch, then rigged, animated and delivered rendered png sequences for the onlne video game. A flash game we worked on last year finally came out so we're excited to share with you some of the cinematic work we did for it.

Original models and rigs from the TV series were provided by the client. We simply brought the characters to life and did all the lighting/rendering part as well. We also did all the surfacing and lighting effects for the rock giant
Here's a close-up look showing a comparison between our raw data (in red) and cleaned up data (in green). See if you can find all the issues that were fixed. As a hint, the red character will pulsate when there's a glitch that needed fixing.

In addition to cleaning up flaws from the raw data capture, the animation curves on the green character were entirely optimized for gaming and the legs are animating through IK controllers that inherited mocap data from the raw capture of the feet.
This is a video that features our current progress on the AnaTOM Project, a real-time human anatomy application that we hope will be a learning resource for artists, medical professionals and anatomy enthusiasts. This is a work in progress showing our soon to be released commercial facial animation and lip sync rig. Model for the rig is already up on our store. The rig will be available for $5.99 along with a facial animation tutorial video This is the first video in our series of motion capture examples showcasing Digital Double's markerless motion capture system and services. This video features how our system captures movement without markers, how the performer can interact with props (chairs, ladders) and the ability for the perfomer to climb large objects.

Digital Double is proud to be the first provider of markerless motion capture in the west coast and one of the only motion capture studios in the State of washington located in Redmond near Seattle.
This is a technique we developed called deep rendering in an effort to create an application that would allow users to explore the interior of the human body, in real-time. For more information about this project click here.

This is an animated sequence we created for the latest release of Fate Undiscovered Realms. Wild Tangent provided us with all the in-game assets and we staged, lit and animated them to produce this dramatic clip. This video features some of our camera matching and digital effects and compositing work done for 5Wheel Productions. The footage was filmed using a Hi8 camera and the alien was created and composited using Maya.
